Get Real

Many Christians are interested in declaring their spirituality, not many are interested in declaring their humanity. We want to hide it. But to deny our humanity not only does a disservice to us, it does a disservice to our church. In fact, our humanity is actually one of our greatest strengths. God put His greatest gifts in ordinary people so that He gets the credit. What kinds of churches are relevant? Churches that are filled with real, authentic, vulnerable and honest people who aren’t hypocritical about sharing their weaknesses. We all struggle, and when we admit our struggles God redeems them and uses them. This sermon series is about being honest. You will be encouraged to get real with God and with others so that you can make the difference that God wants you to make. It is time for all of us to get real.
